Opening of our store at Langemarkstraat 4 in Zonnebeke during the opening days from March 1st to March 15th.

Expansion plans! With a hammer in hand and a big smile on our faces, we kindly asked the wall between our bike shop and the neighbors to step aside. A hole in the wall later and voilà! Our showroom got bigger!

Rien! A sparkling addition to our team. With his arrival, we have not only gained a new colleague, but also a source of enthusiasm, expertise, and a fresh perspective on cycling.

This evening school was founded by Reverend E.H. Gerard Lammens for the young men who had little schooling in France during the war years. The teachers from the municipal school and Reverend Lammens himself taught Dutch and French language, arithmetic, household management, technical drawing, and woodworking. In 1922, the building was erected by contractor D'Herck. The plans were inspired by the pre-war town hall, which stood a bit closer to the church. There were three classrooms and a spacious workshop on either side of a wide entrance gate. Emblems related to the provided education (painter's palette, hammer, chisel, square, printing press) are incorporated into the façade. Above the gate in a round arch niche stands a statue of the Sacred Heart.
